Abstract

This research analyzes the degree of satisfaction of organizations that decide to implement their Human Resources processes in a Cloud HR system, contrasting the result of the digital transformation process with the previous stage (On-premise applications or manual tools). The analysis has been carried out through the initial investigation of the existing theoretical framework for the field of HRIS solutions in Cloud environments, and through the qualitative study of the experiences of several companies that have already carried out -partially or completely- this transformation process. and migration to Cloud HR solutions. This analysis provides relevant findings and learning: satisfaction with the transformation process is generally high and is linked to the degree of support and involvement of all levels of the company -especially Management- in the transformation project; The reduction in costs associated with these solutions mainly translates into the simplification of the ecosystem of satellite and local systems into a single tool, and for the company's internal resources it is not reflected as a cost reduction but as the conversion of their efforts into Value-added tasks for the organization. On the contrary, the lack of customization capacity of these tools and the very high dependence on the software provider is observed. In conclusion, the organizations consulted confirm that, in general terms, they are satisfied with the Cloud HR solutions implemented and their benefits are perceptible, highlighting the main factors that have allowed their successful adoption.
